Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Duke Johnson Tedford and Ruth Idell Murphree Tedford her husband of 65 years, Bernnie Bailey Jones, Sr. After her husband’s death in 2017, she retired at home. Gladys also helped her husband run the ½ way grocery store for 10 years. She worked at Baxter Laboratories for 12 years. in 1955 and they moved to the country where they lived for the balance of their lives. ![]() She attended her first 2 years of school in Skene and then her family moved to Cleveland where she graduated from High School in 1951.
